Initially she wanted to go to Chick-Fil-A, but then she decided she wanted to stay at home and play games with me. 

Mkc wrote her name for the first time

"I can't write my name." "Well, I can write a big giant M. And I can write MKC." 

Usually, she makes shapes or her own special "letters." This time it was English!

First training run for spring 2015

They insisted on wearing their capes. I had MKC all dressed in a t-shirt and pants. As she was putting on her shoes, she said "Mama, I just can't wear this." So, she changed to her glittery dress. It is the dress she wore to the father-daughter dance. I took the t-shirt as back-up, in case she got too hot. She ran the whole two miles (with several rests in the stroller) with her dress on. We got several smiles and waves from passing motorists and dog walkers. It was a lovely afternoon.
